Our History
Our history started in 2004, when Michael Austin founded the first of Austin Companies’ brands, Austin General Contracting (AGC). He recognized the value of taking a project from preconstruction through completion and the opportunity to more widely share his ability to anticipate and hone-in on client needs. Michael has always believed in surpassing expectations, and quickly built a reputation for completing projects on time and on budget. The focus on customer service excellence pushed AGC to become one of the most respected general contractors in Las Vegas.
In his effort to become THE self-performing go-to in Nevada, Michael Austin formed Austin Millwork & Cabinets (AMC) in 2007. AMC provides commercial and architectural millwork for large-scale projects that preserve the equity of their clients’ investment.
Rounding out the market need, in 2009, Michael created Austin Door & Hardware (ADH), which specializes in fabricating commercial doors and hardware. Founded on the same vision statement: “Building Lasting Legacies”, all of the Austin Companies provide the highest standard of quality to the Southwest region.
